Route strings to pedals, amps, interfaces or recording channels. Turn the low strings into bass, give the melody its own effects or split one performance into bass, rhythm and lead.

Keep bass strings clean while the others distort. Add delay to selected notes, give each string a different reverb or make filters, tremolo and fuzz travel across the strings. Shift alternate strings by octaves, create twelve-string textures, bend individual notes like pedal steel or explore electronic open tunings and microtonal scales.

Rebalance a chord, correct one note without touching the others, move a string earlier or later, or re-amp every part differently. Freeze one string while the others move, trigger samples, layer loops or turn a strum into a sequence.
